Hello FM Pundits, it is now time for yourselves to shine! I want to know what is the hardest challenge to undertake in Football Manager 2010? Could it be to become the manager of San Marino trying to earn a single point from a World Cup qualifying group or taking over Chelsea and completing the nationalist challenge in creating an all English side within four years and still keep Chelsea at the top? I personally think that one of the toughest challenges on this years series is to take control of Chester City in the Blue Square Premier. As soon as the game starts your at a disadvantage with -25 points and little money to spend which all most certainty sees you in the Blue Square North and all you are doing is waiting until you have a solid grounding to go forward. But I would be interested in hearing what you think.

Have you got a story of your own? What challenges have you taken in the past that have left you tearing your hear out? Make your comments below as we search for the toughest Football Manager challenge.

Do the Chester thing, with non-real players :3

I reckon managing a team tipped for relegation in Norway or Sweden is pretty hard |:<

My adopt a Minnow challenge that I am hoping to put in full swing at some point, throw I have sort of already started it with Southport where I have started managing them and slowly becoming a big fan of the site, I have been following their scores of Twitter :D . They are going up this year

Not necessarily a specific team to manage, but I think the biggest challenge is getting the team out of the awful runs you end up on, like losing 4 or 5 in a row, without any real explanation. I often find myself just going mental at the screen, before realising it’s just a game…but we all know deep down that this is so so so much more than just a game!!

I’ve not managed many teams just yet, I had a very brief stint in charge of Man Utd but gave up, and started a new one with Huddersfield Town, it’s tricky but a bit of a rollercoaster ride, hope it’s worth it in the end!

I managed Chester for a bit. Took me a while to find my feet but after I got the tactics going they were a pretty solid team, I went six unbeaten at one point!

They still have a solid enough team to cause the BSN problems in the second season of the game, they also knocked me out of the FA cup last season. I think that with Chester you could just tred water with them for a couple of seasons, building them up in the lower leagues with a few free signings and reducing the wage budget at the club. then make a real assualt on getting into League 2 and beyond.
