Sports Interactive today announced a really interesting piece of news today. Football Manager Live have now reduced your price of the subscription based MMO to £4.99 per month. No contracts, just one simple payment per month and you will be able to enjoy the gameworlds of Football Manager Live.
But the announcement might just tempt me into the Football Manager Live world where it can offer you great interaction with other players and a real chance to show off your tactics against other people. Have you played Football Manager Live before? What were your opinions and why did you leave? But most of all, will you now be signing up to the new price structure? Please comment below.
Why not check out http://www.gameworldone.com I highly recommend that Football Manager 2010 fans checkout their tactics section as much can relate to the offline game too.

No, last year I played FML for some months, cause I was curious about the possibility to compete vs. real opponents.
Soon I discovered it had a big problem, poor gameworld moderation and cheating.
Too many players are allowed, even if it’s not regular, to run more than a club per gameworld, this issue makes cheating quite easy: they use all the budget they have at one of their teams to buy a top player or two, then “strangely” enough they loan them for nothing to another team they’re managing.
A serious issue that ruins your game.

Yeah I think there is alot going on in Football Manager Live, the game is moving quickly all the time and the whole revamp hopefully will see all the problems ironed out, otherwise there be no point doing it.
Hi guys, I’m Bertie the community manager for FML.
Firstly thanks to you guys at FMPundit (an awesome website btw!) for taking an interest in Football Manager Live -it’s an awesome game and hopefully more and more of the offline FM community will come and have a look at what we’re about!
In response to your comment, Paine. We’re constantly improving our gameworld moderation techniques and many of the loopholes that people were accused of “cheating” with have since been closed in recent updates. I’d definitely recommend coming back and giving us another go so you can see how it’s all changed since you played the game

Its good to see that some of SEGA/SI staff are knocking around the community to see what is happening, much appreciate your response. Once I have a couple of moments of my own time I might have to sign up myself.
I BETA tested this really early on and it honestly never hooked me. I know its developed a lot more since I tested it but I just wasnt enjoying it. I cant really explain why I didnt like it, it just felt as though I didnt have much control over a number of features.
I doubt anything will make me get FMLive, most of the people I know irl arent interested in FM or FML and on the scene I rarely play FM online anyways. Ive played one online game since FM07 and that was the other week o/

Well I think that the MM does offer something different that online Football Manager doesn’t. The interaction with other people and the way that the game develops when you have a number of human managers involved. Obviously it has had its problems and I hope that we see a game that offers alot of value in the new version.
Although as far as I know since the BETA testing, which I had a little go at until my university halls blocked it. It is a completely different game using what was learned from the past 2.5 years. I will have to give it a go now that SI/SEGA have had it running for 2.5 years, I hope putting myself up against real players will improve my own tactical skills on the offline game.
